Moonlet is a calm place for real moments under the night sky. These rules keep it safe and welcoming.
Effective July 13, 2026Keep the moon as the common thread
The moon can be large, small, behind clouds, over a skyline, reflected on water, or part of a moment with people, pets, scenery, campfires, stars, or northern lights.
People and pets are welcome
Selfies and scenes with other people or animals are allowed when the post is clearly about the moon or that moonlit moment.
Protect everyone’s privacy
Avoid private addresses, identifying details, or anything that reveals an exact location. Share recognizable people only with appropriate permission.
Keep Moonlet gentle
Do not submit explicit, exploitative, violent, hateful, illegal, deceptive, threatening, harassing, infringing, malicious, or privacy-invasive content.
Respect the Moon Map
A submitted photo appears on your own Map immediately. After a safety review, it can be shared with the community for 24 hours. Posts that break these guidelines may be declined or removed by Moonlet moderators.
Report and block
Use Report from a Moonlet’s menu when content may violate these rules. Use Block to stop seeing a user’s posts. For help, contact moonlethq@outlook.com.
